I have a property and need a roommate.

Hello! I am currently looking for a subletter to share a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse in Carrboro from May 15-July 20 (dates flexible). The room is very large (12'x13'), with good light and lots of closet space. The house is located on a quiet street close to Looking Glass Cafe and is within walking distance of Carrboro and of downtown Chapel Hill. It is an easy bike or bus ride to UNC (on the J and CW lines). The house is fully furnished with a nicely remodeled kitchen, all wood floors, a shady back patio and small storage shed, and an in-unit washer/dryer. Rent includes utilities except internet and electric (combined, about $45/month), and includes open parking and access to the community pool (essential for those soul-melting North Carolina days). I rent directly from the wonderful landlord. About me: I am a late-twenties female graduate student working in public health who loves podcasts, coffee, great porches, biking, and cooking with friends. I strive to maintain balance in my work, school, and home lives, and want to live with someone who is easy-going, kind, considerate, and values their home and the people in it. I try to keep things reasonably clean and be conscientious of common spaces. That said, I also love big kitchen projects. I value inclusiveness and communication, and welcome individuals of all backgrounds and identities. If you think we might be a good fit, send an email my way with a little bit about yourself.

I have a property and need a roommate.

This property is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with parking. I am subleasing a room in this house that has it's own individual bathroom connected to it. The other bedrooms in the house will be subleased or vacant, but with a large kitchen and dining area there is enough space. This house is a 10 minute walk to Franklin Street, and a 20 minute walk to the quad. If you're interested please contact me and I would be happy to send more pictures of the inside! The cost would be $700 total including rent, utilities, and parking for all of summer session II. (Click on the post to see how cute the house is!)

Baller location. Walk (12 mins) or bike (5 mins) to campus; walk around the corner to Franklin Street; walk (10 mins) down the street to downtown Carrboro. Lease starts August 1st and runs 12 months. Rent is $545 per person per month - an amazing deal given the location. Utilities (internet, cable, water, electric, heating/AC) are additional and range from about $70 to $80 depending on the month. We have also appreciated having a wide range of graduate programs represented, so bonus points if you're not in anthropology, biology, city and regional planning, economics, or epidemiology. The house has a sizeable living room and kitchen, and on any given night, someone is cooking, watching television, or doing work. We get along well, are friends with each other, and we frequently socialize together (via dinners, trivia, cafe study sessions, Netflix, occasional parties, etc.). We are also diligent about keeping things clean and are respectful of each other's personal/study space; things are usually quiet on weeknights and somewhat livelier on the weekends. Rooms are large and have built-in bookcases and large windows. Bathrooms with a toilet and shower are shared between two rooms and are accessible directly from the room. Each bedroom has its own sink and mirror. Other amenities: - washer/dryer, dishwasher - two refrigerators, large pantry - fireplace (good for s'mores!) - already stocked with an assortment of dishes, cookware, and small kitchen appliances - free parking space in reserved back lot - secure bike shed And now, meet your potential roommates: Roommate #1: tall, dashing rising sixth year epidemiology PhD student living here for her sixth year.
