I need a roommate with a property.

I'm an incoming transfer student at UNC looking for housing. I was planning on living on campus, but was recently informed that there are no single room dorms or apartments available, and sharing a room is a deal breaker for me. Being a transfer student, I'm a bit older than a lot of the incoming freshman (I'm 21), and I just want a little more privacy. A bit about me: I'll be a junior majoring in biology education, with a minor in social and economic justice; I'm originally from Seattle, but moved to Orlando to work for Disney for about 3 years; and I'm currently a supervisor for Starbucks. I lived with roommates in Orlando, so I'm very clean and respectful. I'm looking for a room starting in August. I don't have any pets (but I'm completely fine if you do), I don't smoke or throw parties, and I'm LGBTQ friendly. I'm fine living with any gender, but I do hope to make friends with whoever I live with! I hope to stay pretty close to campus and can pay up to $700 total, including utilities. Please feel free to message me on here or email me at

I have a property and need a roommate.

We are looking for someone(s) to take over our lease for a three bed/two bath duplex in Carrboro. Rent is $520/room ($1560 total) and utilities average around $50/room (water + electric). The lease would start around August 5th. The house is about a 10 minute walk to downtown Carrboro and the CW bus stops directly in front of the house to get to UNC. There is one bedroom downstairs with a shared full bathroom to the living room and the other two bedrooms are upstairs (each has a large walk-in closet) with a large shared full bath where there is a washer/dryer. There is also a patio on the back side of the home with a partial privacy divider and a communal field area. There's lots of off-street parking available in front of the home as well. More info is available on the (old) web ad here: Just note that the rent is now $1560, but everything else is the same! Please feel free to message me if you are interested or would like more information!

I need a roommate to find a property.

Hey, I'm a mature, 24-year-old undergrad that transferred to Chapel Hill from Appalachian State in order to finish up my degree. I'm looking for a roommate in order to open leasing options around Chapel Hill. I have high standards of living, but that doesn't mean I want to spend $900/month for a room, let's be reasonable. I'm shooting for a place $400-$600/month either including or excluding utilities. I want it to be a nice place, with good bang for the buck. I will not live in a dump. Also, it will be preferably close to campus!
